The story is based in 13th century England during a period when the villagers of Nottingham suffer because of the ridiculous way the sheriff used to treat them and only one man was brave enough to stand up against him and he was names Robin Hood. Trying to do something good to the villagers, he soon gains enough and more support from the villagers. He decides to take the down the King and his men, but figures that he can’t do it all by himself. Robin forms his own gang with the villagers who have the best of skills in their own way.

The team consists of Little John, played by Kevin Durand, Friar Tuck, played by Mark Addy, Will Scarlet, played by Scott Grimes and of course the spirited widow Maid Marian played by Cate Blanchett, who Robin falls for from the minute he lays eyes on her and his only source of motivation.
